A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE SUPPLEMENTAL AMENDED BUDGET OF THE LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED AS EXHIBIT โ€œD,โ€ IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION, FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($1,466,958.00) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2025, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2026.

WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") created and established the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859, adopted October 12, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's revitalization and redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area; and

WHEREAS, Section 12.5-36 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended (โ€œCity Codeโ€), provides that the Trust shall submit a budget to the City Commission for approval, in a form acceptable to the City Manager; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 25-0411, adopted September 25, 2025, the City Commission approved the Trustโ€™s original annual budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, in the amount of $991,958.00 (โ€œOriginal Annual Budgetโ€), attached and incorporated as Exhibit โ€œAโ€; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 26-0219, adopted by the City Commission on May 14, 2026(attached and incorporated as Exhibit โ€œBโ€), the Trust received unanticipated revenues from the District 5 Miami for Everyone (โ€œMFEโ€) Program Fund in the total amount of One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($100,000.00), and from the Human Services Special Revenue Fund in the total amount of Three Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($300,000.00), for a combined total of Four Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($400,000.00), to fund its summer youth employment program, necessitating an amendment to the Trustโ€™s OriginalAnnual Budget; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. CRA-R-26-0025, adopted by the Southeast OvertownPark West Community Redevelopment Agency (โ€œSEOPW CRAโ€) on May 28, 2026, attached and incorporated as Exhibit โ€œCโ€, the Trust received unanticipated revenue from the SEOPW CRA in the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($75,000.00), to fund its Summer Youth Employment Program, necessitating an amendment of theTrustโ€™s Original Annual Budget; and

WHEREAS, the governing body of the Trust reviewed and approved the Trust's amended budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 on June 9, 2026, attached and incorporated as Exhibit โ€œDโ€;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1.ย  The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.

Section 2.ย  The Trust's Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Supplemental Amended Budget, in the amount of One Million,Four Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand,Nine Hundred Fifty-Eight and 00/100 Dollars ($1,466,958.00)attached hereto as Exhibit โ€œD,โ€ for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2026, is approved and adopted.

Section 3.ย  This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.
